Big Laurel's camps are FREE! Day camps are open to all students Kindergarten - 8th grade. Overnight camps are open to all students 3rd - 12th grade.
June 16-19: Girls Overnight Camp
July 6-10: Sports and Adventure Day Camp
July 21-24: Boys Overnight Camp
July 27-31: Splash Day Camp
Aug 3-7: Art in Nature Day Camp
Join us for a summer experience full of learning, serving, and exploring through summer camps, building projects, reflections, and much more! Live in a sustainable community on a 450 acre land trust in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
Connect with nature, deepen your spirituality, and mentor young campers! Participants will work on site from June 14 - July 2, 2026 and help the Big Laurel staff plan, prep, and execute all our fun activities.

What do you do at camp?
Day Camps are five days each, Monday - Friday of the week listed above. Overnight camps are Tuesday-Friday, which includes four days three nights. Campers will enjoy crafts, hiking, swimming, bonfires, ecology lessons, team building, and much more!
Our past camp themes have included "Water is Life," "The Web of Life," reptiles and amphibians, biodiversity, geology, "Sports and Adventure," and "Arts in Nature."

Camps are hosted at Big Laurel Learning Center's Web of Life Ecology Center. Click here for directions! We also offer camper pick ups and drop offs on Marrowbone Creek.
