:: Marrowbone Community Food Pantry
Our purpose is to be a resource to those who need food and those who can give food.
We educate our community about ways to access food and how to maintain proper nutrition.
Our services include emergency food and educational programs on nutrition.
The Pantry depends on donations of food and money to obtain food.
We give the food to needy people in the areas of Marrowbone and Jennie's Creeks and Breeden.
We define needy as those on fixed incomes, recently out of work and those in crisis like fire,
flood, death, accidents and illness. Particular care is given to the elderly and to children.
We participate in a national food donation program,
Family to Family based out of New York.
